David Taylor
About David: David Taylor is a retired PC(USA) pastor and founder and former director of Momentum Bike Clubs, a youth development initiative around bicycles for under-resourced youth in Greenville and Pickens Counties. David has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Seminary. David and his wife, Tandy, live in the Nicholtown community of Greenville, an historic African American community. Tandy and David have two children, Sam and Emily.
Favorite Trail or Greenway: The Doodle Trail in Pickens County is a fun rolling greenway that provides an important connection for people in Easley and Pickens to be active and healthy.
Why I Support UGATA: Greenways and trails provide the cornerstones for a healthy and vibrant community, and UGATA is laser-focused on delivering greenways and trails to the Upstate. I am thrilled to be part of an organization that is delivering such a tangible benefit to the community.
