Our founding project, the one that birthed UGATA!  Talking to private landowners and recognizing (along with everyone else!) the popularity of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, we partnered with Greenville County and private developers to fast track the first mile of the proposed Orange Line near Hampton Station.  Bringing together the landowners and the County, UGATA helped negotiate a deal for clearing, grading, and paving the first mile of this extension of the Swamp Rabbit trail.  This project speaks to the willingness of private landowners to engage with local government and pool resources to achieve commonly held goals.  UGATA helped put dreams into action!
